How long does it take for dogs to recover from being spayed?
My one year old staffie cross is being spayed tomorrow. Does anyone know how long it will take for her to recover? We were planning to go camping (with her) in the Brecon Beacon mountains in Wales this weekend - but obviously that would involve a lot of walking etc. Would it be too much for her? Another option would be to leave her with my parents,
No a great idea to be letting her run around too much. She is going to be sore and at a year, it will take more time for her to recover. Camping isn't a great idea because she will have wounds that you will need to keep clean to avoid infection, and scabs and wounds are asking for blood loving bugs!
If you can find a place where she can be left
